John Mayer and Dave Chappelle have announced a limited two-night run starting tomorrow at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Listed as something called Controlled Danger, we’re told it’ll be a no-cell-phone show (for those familiar with how Dave Chappelle does things now) and evening of comedy and music. Woah.0

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll have bragging rights amongst your friend group for weeks to come.Please leave your phones at home and come experience a once-in-a-lifetime event, hosted by two of the greatest creative minds working today.*** This is a strict NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED show. No cameras or recording devices will be allowed. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones throughout the night, and if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations. Anyone caught with a cell phone in the venue will be immediately ejected. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
Please note:This is a WILL CALL ONLY event. Each customer will need to bring their government-issued photo ID and credit card used to reserve the tickets to The Fillmore on day of show to redeem the tickets. Once the ticket order is redeemed, the customer and their guest must directly enter The Fillmore. All will call tickets must be picked up by the card holder ONLY. Alternate names for will call will not be permitted. You cannot leave tickets at will call to be picked up by someone else.
