Jim James is using his My Morning Jacket downtime hard this year and has announced a solo acoustic tour for this fall, set to begin in Los Angeles and wind to the East to finish off in Louisville, Kentucky.
The plan for the run is to do songs from their “natural habitat” of just voice and guitar, and this is something James is excited to do for the first time — normally he’d have a band or some other folks on stage with him.
