In a new video uploaded yesterday on the New Riders of the Purple Sage YouTube account, some old school found footage has surfaced showing Jerry Garcia shredding on a telecaster with the band while they were playing the Winterland in San Francisco on December 15, 1973. They did an upbeat “Sea Cruise” that had the crowd rockin’ which you can watch below.
If you’re deep in the Dead lore this may be something you’ve already read about or studied a bit, but if you’re like, this was certainly a brand new clip and something worthy of a quick share.

This wasn’t the first time a video of this jam had surfaced, though. Looks like a few years back someone uploaded the “Glendale Train” jam with Jerry jamming on that, too.
