The second week of Jazzfest is well underway with rainy weather dominating Thursday headlines (despite some stellar performances.) Things are looking dry for the rest of the weekend but attendees should bundle up because a cold front is moving in that could bring record low temps. Those of us cozy at home with FOMO will get a taste of the Big Easy as TV begins all-day TV coverage this afternoon at 12:30PM PST / 3:30PM EST. This is the first time the festival has been on TV and we can thank Mark Cuban and his TV’s continuing commitment to live music for that. They’ll be showing ten hours of each day. We’re especially looking forward to tonight’s and Charlie Musslewhite set along with what has become ’s unofficial house band, ’s . Saturday features and , whose performances we can’t wait to store on the DVR (forever) and Sunday is jam-packed with , with special guest and ’s rain-drenched set.
