Katie got me the Kraftwerk Minimum-Maximum DVD for my birthday — I can finally relive the magic that was Kraftwerk live. Pick up this DVD; you won’t be sorry!
The Secret Machines have announced that they’re playing a Lollapalooza aftershow at the Darkroom in Chicago. I’ve updated my aftershows post.
Tortoise has announced a few fall tour dates, and I’m hoping to get a chance to see them in Chicago this time around (no dates for Chicago yet announced). For some reason I’ve never been hugely into Tortoise until recently so I’ve never caught them live.

I actually got two different emails yesterday from two different people telling me that I’ve got to check out Scrapomatic. They’re playing a couple dates this week out East:

- July 28 – Towne Crier Cafe in upstate ny
- July 29 – Ridgefield Playhouse in CT
- July 30 – Castaways in ithaca, NY (right near my school!
