In case you missed it, we had posted quite a bit of coverage from this year’s Austin City Limits Music Festival. It was my first time down there and I ran a full set of galleries from all the amazing artists I got the privledge to shoot, and our very own Wesley Hodges took the reigns for Live Music Blog: NOLA and wrote some amazing recaps from each day of the festival. Check all that out here.
In case you thought that it stopped there, we’ve probably got at least one more gallery / recap coming with all of our coverage put together in a nice pile and we’ve got to start paying attention to lineup clues for next year now that the early-bird tickets for ACL Fest 2012 are going on sale tomorrow to anyone of the festival’s newsletter subscribers. If you haven’t signed up yet, it’s too late to get in on the $185 tickets tomorrow. After that, a three-day pass is going to cost you about $200 (at least). Get on it, son!
The Paris version of the Pitchfork Music Festival announced today that it had sold out of two-day passes and single day tickets for the festival set for Halloween weekend in Paris. The festival features Bon Iver, Aphex Twin, Cut Copy, Lykke Li, Washed Out, Fucked Up, Jens Lekman, Wild Beasts, Real Estate, Four Tet, Pantha Du Prince, Kathleen Edwards, Erol Alkan, Stornoway, and Mondkopf. So it’s not surprising at all that this lineup would kill in France…
Here are some tour dates that got announced today: Mickey Hart, Ryan Adamn, Allman Brothers Band, Matisyahu, The Barr Brothers, Avey Tare & Dub Trio.
Finally, don’t forget to take a look back at the Wilco photos we got from Central Park Summerstage this past Friday night. brooklynvegan just posted their gallery from the event as well.
