The Green Apple Music & Arts Festival continues to grow.
As we previously reported, the Green Apple Music & Arts Festival has expanded to three cities for 2007, and will take place April 20-22 in Chicago, New York , and San Francisco. Some additional shows have been announced, including several add-ons to the free shows being played in each city.
In Chicago, the free Earth Day event at Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo, has expanded to include Big Head Todd (Todd’s solo project), Mad Professor, Deep Fried Pickle Project, Etta Jenkins, and the Blisters (a pre-teen band featuring Jeff Tweedy’s two sons). The event — which already included Umphrey’s McGee, the Disco Biscuits, and the Paul Green School of Rock — runs from 10AM – 5:30PM on Sunday, April 22nd (schedule available at the Lincoln Park Zoo website).
The festivities in New York have also expanded to include several free shows outside Grand Central Station (on Vanderbilt Ave), including performances by State Radio (w/ Dispatch guitarist Chad Urmston), Assembly of Dustas well as Paul Green’s School of Rock Allstars with Yes’s Jon Anderson (w/ Gandalf Murphy and Slambovian Circus of Dreams).
For the full listing of bands, I’ve included an updated version after the jump…
