The Grateful Dead have released a new official live video on their YouTube channel, this week a “Heaven Help the Fool” from their acoustic set at October 30th, 1980.
“This is the only song from Bob’s 1978 solo record Heaven Help The Fool that made it into the Dead’s setlist, aside from the one-time performance of Salt Lake City in 1995. This was only ever played acoustically, and without vocals, by the Grateful Dead, but they sure did have fun with it.” – David Lemieux
