Glastonbury Festival has been granted permission to increase its capacity from 200,000 to 210,000 in 2020.
The festival hasn’t yet confirmed if they will expand, but out of the 142,000 tickets allocated, the 7,000 new tickets would be for festival attendees who use public transport to go to Glastonbury. There will also be an extra 5000 tickets added to the scheme already in place for locals in the Somerset catchment area, as well as an increase to 63,000 for talent, festival crew and volunteers.
