The news was finally confirmed by Glastonbury and even Mick Jagger himself in a tweet today — The Rolling Stones will headline Britain’s Glastonbury on Saturday night at Worthy Farm in Somerset. The other headliners include Mumford & Sons and the Arctic Monkeys. This will be the very first time the London rockers have played the festival. Surprising considering they are celebrating 50 years together. LMB favorites Foals, Alabama Shakes, Rodriguez, Tame Impala, Django Django, Lumineers, Michael Kiwanuka, Local Natives, Alt-J, and Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds (and so many others we had to stop somewhere) will also play the three-day event (June 28-30), which draws around 150,000 people each year. Check out the 2013 lineup but good luck digesting it all in one sitting. Tip: Just because the event is already sold out, re-sales begin next month!
Can't wait to play Glastonbury. I have my wellies and my yurt!
