At last night’s Widespread Panic Halloween show in New Orleans, the band came out strong with their friend George Porter Jr. joining them to start the show. He then lead the band on The Meters classic “Chicken Strut” with Dave Schools playing a rubber chicken, and then they vamped hard through a killer “Hey Pocky Way” with Schools and Porter playing off each other while the band jammed. Great moment.
