TMZ is reporting that Billy McFarland, the organizer behind the disastrous Fyre Festival debacle of early 2017, has pleaded guilty on two counts of wire fraud in connection to the money he received to put on the festival. They’re saying he’s most likely headed to prison.

In short, a disaster. You can read more about what happened here, but in short a bunch of people that were supposed to put on a good music festival took all the money and let the entire thing flame out in a dumpster fire of an event that the entire media landscape watched, blogged about, and recorded as it happened.
