Eddie Murphy was the host on this week’s Saturday Night Live, his first time back on the show in a long, long time. To kick off the show, Murphy welcomed a who’s who of black comedians who had hoped to get their pitches in for skit ideas on the show, including Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle and Keenan Thompson.
They did a hilarious callback to some of the best Murphy sketches of all time, including Mister Robinson’s Neighborhood.

“Home for the Holidays” was damn near perfect.
And…….Lizzo was the musical guest. She was joined by Celisse Henderson (from Trey Anastasio’s Ghosts of the Forest band) on one of the tracks. Wow!
