Dr. Dog just announced a new set of tour dates the other day. Their music seemed to be featured prominently as “house music” on the set switchovers this past weekend at Outside Lands and me and my crew noticed it more than a few times…
The band is currently in a Philadelphia studio recording a new full length album. The record, an anticipated follow up to the band’s breakout release Shame Shame, will be in stores early 2012.
The band is playing three shows with Bright Eyes later this month and move on from there to Merriweather Post Pavilion, a bunch of college towns and then a stop off in New Orleans for a show at Tipitina’s. The band will also be playing the Orlando Calling Music Festival set for southern Florida in mid-November.
