Amazon Music has released a new short film and documentary about disco legend and LGBTQ icon Sylvester called Love Me Like You Should: The Brave and Bold Sylvester.
It features archival footage, rare performance clips and interviews with Billy Porter, The Weather Girls member Martha Wash, Sylvester’s sister Bernadette Baldwin, biographer Josh Gamson, songwriter James Wirrick, and more. [Mixmag]
The film was made by Lauren Tabak alongside writer and consulting producer Barry Walters.
