Dead & Company will be having a huge 2023 which begins in January at their Cancun excursion event, Playing in the Sand. As the band announced recently that 2023 will be the year they hang it up, suddenly the chance to see the band on the beach in Mexico has become a last-chance-or-you-miss-it-forever type of event.
Now that fans are locked in on the trip and the Waiting List gets chipped away at, I’m guessing some Goose fans may have just been pushed over the edge on this as they’ve been added as the main support for the weekend. They’ll be joined by LP Giobbi, who I’ve never heard of but seems to be a Dead-focused DJ and seems like quite a bit of fun:
Finally it looks like Joe Russo’s Almost Dead guy Tom Hamilton has a new supergroup to jam with as well, as he’ll be joining the above acts with his MORE! project.
