coventry fallout

as i’ve posted so many articles relating to the phish coventry festival this weekend, i think it’s time we all move on. one major question i have for all those involved; why hasn’t phish said anything yet? are they just going to disappear without acknowledging the fact that MANY of their loyal fans that bought tickets were turned away? i sure hope not. what concerns me more is the idea that there is really nothing that can be done about this. what concerns me even more than that is the idea that most major news sources, probably building off each other’s misinformation, are reporting that 60 – 65,000 fans were let in. for those that were there, is this correct? early reports made it seem as though everyone and their brother was getting turned away. is this accurate from the best of your knowledge?
