Following last Friday’s horrific terrorist attacks at multiple locations in Paris, including the concert venue Bataclan that was hosting an Eagles of Death Metal concert, the NY Times is reporting that the concert industry is already prepared to make some sweeping changes to try and curb any would-be repeats of the carnage.
Live Nation, the global concert giant, said on Saturday that it would increase security at its venues, and other industry representatives are expected to do the same.
Many concerts have been canceled in Europe following the events that took place Friday night, including the remainder of the Foo Fighters tour, and yet some continued on despite an obvious need for heightened security immediately after the attacks.
