The Chris Robinson Brotherhood announced late last night that they have parted ways with keyboardist and original member, Adam MacDougall.
Along with that bummer news, the band has cancelled their album release party in Brooklyn, NY in June, and after July of this year, they will be going on hiatus for the remainder of 2019.
The new album Servants of the Sun will still have a June 14th release date.
Other cancellations include the October 9th Webber Hall show in NY, and their upcoming show at the Hoxeyville Festival.
MacDougall, who has been playing with Robinson since 2007 in the Black Crowes, is also touring with the band Circles Around The Sun this summer (which also features CRB bandmate Neal Casal). The band has not named a replacement for MacDougall in CRB’s remaining dates at this time, nor have they named a replacement for this weekend’s As The Crow Flies show at The BeachLife Festival.
Check back for more updates on this as the band progresses. We’re hearing this didn’t end cleanly.
