Divine Fits will headline Taste of Randolph Street 2013
Simply put, it doesn’t get much better than Chicago in the summertime. Cubs baseball, days by/on the lake, a nice window of excellent weather and an always slam-packed festival schedule await folks in the Windy City as winter turns to spring and summer. Among other annual cultural events, on the musical side, in June there’s Taste of Randolph Street, in July there’s P4K fest (and a nice Phish run) and Lolla follows in August – can’t beat that with a stick.
This year, from June 14 through June 16, the 15th Annual Taste of Randolph Street Festival returns featuring some of the top bands in indie rock today spanning three stages, all benefiting the West Loop Community Organization. This year’s artists include the supergroup Divine Fits, featuring Brit Daniel of Spoon and members of Wolf Parade, Welsh alternative rock group The Joy Formidable, Los Angeles quintet Milo Greene, acclaimed indie-folk group Lord Huron, and dozens more.
