New Orleans queen Big Freedia has announced a fairly large fall tour this year with a big ‘ol sponsor at the top following her recent partnership with Ben & Jerry’s.
The fall tour will go Coast to Coast and kick off in Atlanta on October 24th and wind all the way West to finish up at the Belly Up in San Diego on November 21st. Philadelphia rockers Low Cut Connie will be on as openers on all dates
The tour is sponsored by Ben & Jerry’s because earlier this summer they developed an ice cream flavor called Big Freedia’s Bouncing Beignets. It looked damn good, too — vanilla ice cream with a bourbon-caramel swirl — but it’s not available in stores yet.
