Animal Collective are currently in the midst of their first leg of shows supporting their recently released LP, Painting With, and today the band confirmed another set of dates to expand the tour. Along with those additional tour dates, the band has announced their first-ever camping festival set for Big Sur the weekend of September 23-24, 2016 and is being put on the fine folks at folkYEAH.
The festival has been aptly named A N I M A L C O L L E C T I V E Camping Weekend in Big Sur and will take place at the Fernwood Resort. Along with the band the fest will feature performances by WIFE, Winter, The Range of Light Wilderness, M. Geddes Gengras and Jessica Pratt. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday.
