Aerosmith kicked off their Deuces Are Wild residency last night at the MGM Park Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada.
As one would expect for such an event, the setlist was spread out with a good mix of songs throughout their early years and in the 1990’s “hits” era and Steven Tyler and Joe Perry even went acoustic for a few tunes in the middle of the set, including a cover of Fleetwood Mac “Stop Messin’ Around.”
There was also a documentary that was shown before the show started. And some theatrics…
Prior to the show, attendees were treated to a half-hour long documentary featuring interviews with the group and their famous peers about the band’s history, along with clips of various pop culture moments such as their Wayne’s World appearances. All the while, Cirque Du Soleil-type performers wandered the venue, some sporting mining-style lights.
