Phish fans are reeling in good vibes and in a bit of a tizzy today after a wildly successful two-night run that the band hosted down at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO.
Nobody could have known when they booked their opener there that the St. Louis Blues would be poised to win the Stanley Cup final on Night #2, resulting in the super obvious and very welcome crowd pleaser, “Gloria,” the official victory song of the NHL team, right as the band hit the second set once the victory was final.
Night one won’t easily be remembered or re-called easily in the Phistory books, but for a tour opener it’s a great addition to the catalog and featured a debut plus a full range of Phish hi-jinx like Kasvot Växt jams, the debut of a Ghosts of the Forest song and more.
Our friend Fassbinder Photography brought back this gallery of the band looking spiffy. Scroll down to see the full set… —Editor

The band kicked off with the Kasvot Växt classic “Cool Amber and Mercury” which was first debuted the previous Halloween in Las Vegas at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Smiles all around right from the start…
Right?!
Finally we get a look at the band and Mike’s pants.
Sometimes all I need to see on the webcast is Trey’s vibe as smiley, because then I know he’s having fun up there.
So giggly
Mike was rather stoic on Night #1, probably dialing in his sound.
There, he found it…
Jon Fishman sounded great from the start, a full night of confidence behind the drums. When he’s on, the rest of the band can relax.
