From time to time, I’m going to dive into the Live Music Blog inbox and highlight some of the interesting items that get sent our way every single day…
On the first installment of the “From the Inbox” series, I’ve got a couple items that have been piling up on my desk that I found interesting…
Jihad Jerry & the Evildoers – Mine is Not a Holy War
Thanks to Cordless for this. Not much of a fan of the genre — sorta sounds Devo-ish (makes sense) with a little They Might Be Giants mixed in — but I did enjoy this one tune. It reminds me a little bit of the Simpsons episode where Bart joins a boy band.

Many Men Mirror Many Faces (MySpace)
I enjoyed this; light, airy, spacey and melodic enough to make me relax a little bit…not bad…
- Many Men Mirror Many Faces – Iceman [mp3]
- Many Men Mirror Many Faces – The Pangs of a Violent Berth [mp3]
Matthew Worden – Cobblestone Street & Endless Sounds
I hear some Dave Matthews, some David Gray, and a little more folk-ish sounds coming from Matthew Worden, a singer-songwriter in NYC. He’s playing at Sin-é on Sun., Sept 17.
