One of the things I want to cover on Drymount! are big poster releases, so all the loyal LMB readers are well informed. That coverage is going to begin today with a huge release by Drowning Creek Studio.
Owned and operated by the formidable team of Jeff Wood and Judy Gex, Drowning Creek has been designing amazing posters for a wide variety of bands for over 10 years. Their specialty, however, is jambands, and over the years they’ve done posters for everyone from Phish to Widespread Panic to Umphrey’s McGee. Today’s release is heavy on the jamband material as well. Jeff’s prints are stunning in person and need to be seen to be believed.

Derek Trucks Band/Susan Tedeschi Soul Stew Winter ’07 – Yes, this is a redux of the Soul Stew poster with the eyes in green instead of blue and with the Winter otur dates. The change is subtle and would make a lovely accompaniment to the original. Rest of the edition Sold Out at the shows on tour.
Jam Cruise Aztec Calendar ’07 – Lots of hidden imagery in this calendar… a really detailed print and we only have 15 to sell. Limit 1 per person/order. Rest of the edition Sold Out on the ship.
Jam Cruise Sun-Moon ’07 – The Sun-Moon eclipse image is very common in Mexico. It’s also one of Judy’s favorite symbols as evidenced by her collection of them. Like the Calendar, limit of 1 per person/order. Rest of the edition Sold Out on the ship.

Tiger Art Print – As a follow-up companion print to the Dragon released back in Nov. ’07, Johnny Thief and Jeff team up to bring you the PGroove Clemson Tiger as the latest art print. 2 more colors than the Dragon, this was a more involved and longer to print project. The cost is slightly more than the Dragon, but the Dragon was the “test” for the process Jeff is using to print these. There are 140 available for sale in this release. There will not be a second release as with the Dragon, so get this now or pay more for it tomorrow on eBay. Limit of 2 per person. Do not submit multiple orders – they will be canceled. Please respect quantity limits!
