After twelve long years, Ben Folds Five has officially returned to the music scene. The band was formed in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1994 and were arguably one of the top indie/pop acts each time they toured. They reached for the charts with “Brick”, a track off their top rated, Whatever And Ever Amen in 1997. The band broke up in 2000 with Ben Folds pursuing a solo career but now they’re officially back on track. They’ve returned with the original trio in tact, Ben Folds (piano), Robert Sledge (bass) and Darren Jessee (drums) with a brand new album entitled, The Sound Of The Life Of The Mind, which was released this week, and a collaboration with The Jim Henson Company’s “Fraggle Rock” for a music video, “Do It Anyway.” Check out the video and BFF’s upcoming fall tour after the jump
