Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong wasn’t very happy in Vegas last night when the 25-year old band’s set was cut from an already-short 45 minutes to 25 minutes so (according to video below) Usher could have more time. Beware, expletives galore.

*Update: On Sunday, E! News reported via his rep that “Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong is seeking treatment for substance abuse.” “Green Day would like everyone to know that their set was not cut short by Clear Channel and to apologize to those they offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. The band regretfully must postpone some of their upcoming promotional appearances.”
It’s not very rock and roll is it? I don’t understand why he didn’t just say “F*@k You” and keep playing til they got carried by security…that would have been Punk, not this pretend guitar smashing BS.
