Jacquees Releases “Lick Back” Featuring Juvenile, Announces ‘Mood 2’ Album

Jacquees is back with a new track. The R&B star is joined by Juvenile on “Lick Back,” a Southern-styled anthem that comes alongside the announcement of his upcoming album, Mood 2. “Lick Back” gives a new perspective on where his sound is heading as he readies his next project.
According to a press release from Jacquees’ team, the Mood 2 album is due out on July 31.
As for the newly released track, “Lick Back” is built on bounce-heavy production and Southern energy. The track finds Jacquees in full player mode, delivering smooth melodies and carefree delivery while Juvenile brings unmistakable New Orleans flavor to the record.
Rooted in Southern rap tradition, “Lick Back” carries bounce-driven energy and chant-ready moments made for the outside. Reimagined through Jacquees‘ melodic approach, it lands as a summer-ready anthem built for cookouts, block parties, festivals, and late-night turn-ups.

Alongside the release, Jacquees announces his upcoming album Mood 2, arriving July 31.
