Surfing for Daisy Drop New Single “Hot Blood,” Set for Lollapalooza 2026 Performance

Surfing for Daisy continue to make waves with their new single, “Hot Blood,” an energetic track that nods to their bluesy, alternative rock roots. The upbeat song captures the band’s signature intensity while encouraging listeners to move and get lost in the music. The release coincides with their busy tour schedule, including a highly anticipated performance at Lollapalooza on the BMI Stage in Chicago.
In a press release, Surfing for Daisy’s management revealed that the band’s Lollapalooza performance will take place on Sunday, August 2nd from 2:10-2:50PM.
As for the new single “Hot Blood”, the track is actually the 4th single release off their upcoming sophomore album.
The band shares:
“Hot Blood is an upbeat, feel good, rock jam that just makes you want to dance. It has this persistent intensity that was crafted to make people loosen up, move around and get lost in the music rather than the heaviness of the lyrics. It is a nod back to our bluesy, raw rock and roll inspired roots.”

Surfing for Daisy began on a porch in Asbury Park, NJ, among a circle of new and old friends. Their sound is rooted in alternative folk rock with touches of psychedelia, though it ultimately resists easy categorization, moving fluidly between genres and moods.
The band has quickly gained momentum, performing at the Sea.Hear.Now Festival in September 2025 in front of thousands. That momentum has continued as the band builds toward the release of their forthcoming sophomore album, following a sold-out show at The Stone Pony last year as well.
