Jazzfest wrapped up this past weekend after two weeks of celebrating music, food, and culture in the Big Easy. JamBase sent a couple folks and they’ve got some fantastic coverage up. Danfun went and he’ll be posting some photos over at Hidden Track soon enough. What about us?
Well, we didn’t go. Meh.
That would never really stop me from rounding up some of the live downloads from the festival here as a solid resource to the fans like me that didn’t make it down there. If you find any that I don’t have, feel free to email me or post the link in the comments. I’ll keep updating as the recordings come in.

Thanks for posting the torrents for Jazz Fest. You have answered my prayers. Now I can hear some of the stuff I missed. All in all, a very good Jazz fest. Just enough wierdness and weather to remember we ain’t runnin’ the show, and enough great music and people to fill up to overflow.

Went for the second weekend and as usual the music was fantastic except for rain on Friday. Was nice to see the huge crowds back this year. A few photos and rundown at http://www.musicroadman.com/category/jazzfest/

Didn’t get to go to the actual fest, but saw the Ween and Umphrey’s late night, in that order, back to back, and both rocked my socks off. And the city seems to be picking up the pieces — there were a great deal more people here than last year and it looks like there are more businesses up and running again.
