Act fast!
You can now purchase tickets for the Voodoo Music Festival 2006 for only $25 (while they last). After those are sell-out, expect the ticket price to go up to a more near-$100 level.
So far, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Duran Duran (???) are the only bands signed on, but you have to know that the festival will probably round out with some other big-namers that might just overshadow media coverage of Vegoose 2006. I, for one, am assuming that Superfly is going to take this year’s Vegoose to a whole new level so I’m still holding my breath on that one.

I won’t lie, I know nothing about Voodoo. But if Vegoose learns from their mistakes last year, and gets even an equally badass lineup…

hopefully voodoo fest will help do as much for new orleans as this years jazz fest. i think anything that can help out new orleans right now is a great thing. they have provided us with so much good music, its important not to forget that they still need help

comparing vegoose to voodoo fest is like comparing apples to meat… not even in the same category. voodoo fest is incredible… some of the best shows ive ever seen.

The Voodoo Music Festival has been around for many years, much longer than damn Vegoose, which is still a 1st year show. Plus the Voodoo Fest is outdoors, a much more enjoyable experience. Several stages are set up throughout New Orleans’ city park, one even being on an island. Dont knock it until you try it. New Orleans has more culture (and in particular music culture) than Vegas could ever hope to have. Leave Vegas to the gambling.
