I would say this could be filed under “WTF” news except for the fact that there’s obviously plenty of local heads that are working at CNN that have probably followed Widespread Panic for years.

In celebration of their brand new broadcasting studio at CNN World Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, CNN will feature Widespread Panic as studio’s first-ever house band, during CNN Newsroom with host Kyra Phillips on Tuesday, May 11th from 9:00am – 11:00am Eastern.

During the regular CNN Newsroom broadcast, Widespread Panic will perform into and out of commercial breaks, and answer questions from Phillips throughout the two-hour broadcast.

Epic. Not really.
