David Pumpkins? Are we supposed to know who that is?
Okay, so this isn’t really a music post but I tend to think of Saturday Night Live as a place I reserve the right for some commentary. And somehow they’re finding a way…. again…. to bring back David S. Pumpkins, the breakout character from last season’s Halloween timed show. They’ll be putting on an animated (!) special with a hilarious idea…
The story will find Pumpkins and his skeleton buddies showing a young boy and his sister the true meaning of Halloween in a small suburban town. The good news is that the THR piece notes that “none of their questions” will be answered, which at least means this won’t be a Pumpkins origin story. [Consequence of Sound]
