Tonic Closing, Benevento/Russo Duo Shows Move to The Knit

I got an email from our good buddy Nicholas Tolson reminding me that the guys in The Duo had some dates booked at Tonic in New York City — even though that venue just announced that it would be shutting down.

Thankfully, the community stepped up to keep the shows alive…

As many of you may or may not have heard, unfortunately, Tonic will be closing its doors for good on April 13. This means that we have to change the venue for the previously-scheduled Benevento/Russo Duo acoustic shows that were scheduled for April 19 at the venue. Thanks to our old friends at Rocks Off and The Knitting Factory, the show will go on.

I got to meet Bill from Rocks Off down at SXSW 2007, and I sent him a note yesterday to say, “keep up the good work.” Be sure to do the same if you end up attending this show, and feel free to stop back by the site to let us know how it went.
