2008 Telluride Bluegrass| Lineup Announced

I’m in the midst of clearing through the LMB inbox, and we’ve gotten tons of music festival news over the past couple weeks. No big surprise there at all, really. I’ll try to get some of the info posted for those that are interested in planning their festival schedule this year, and in the meantime you can always head over to the JamBase for their listing of 287 different music festivals set for this year.

One of these festivals that we hadn’t posted on yet was the 35th Annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival, set for June 19-22 in Telluride, Colorado. This year’s lineup is steeped in bluegrass and folk as always, and this year they continue to push the envelope a bit by featuring artists with crossover appeal to the underground mainstream. Ryan Adams & the Cardinals, Ani DiFranco, Bruce Hornsby, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Punch Brothers featuring Chris Thile are the immediate artists that come to mind if you take a look at the lineup below:
