Not a big surprise if you’ve been following the Dead news as of late, but if you’re just now catching up, check this out.
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead is definitely going to be busy next year while the Grateful Dead crew reunites in some rumored fashion — we’re hearing Lockn’ — with their original drummer duo. Not going to speculate any further, but all signs are pointing to a banner year for the original members of the Dead and that left the ancillary players up to their own devices. As for JRAD, they’ve already been announced as headliners for a small festival called The Ville Festival in Ohio for Memorial Day weekend, and today they’ve confirmed a three-night run in Colorado over the Valentine’s Day / President’s Day weekend.

These shows will very likely sell-out so we’d recommend staying up on this and getting tickets right away. I’m guessing they’ll be getting added to a bunch of festival lineups this year also.
