Though Paper Diamond (aka Alex B) has been a mainstay in the electronic music scene for years, his talent and entity continues to develop each year. Fiercely creative and tirelessly dedicated, Alex B has had his hand in many endeavors throughout the years including but not limited to: co-founding Elm & Oak, a multi-faceted record label/design studio based in Boulder, CO, and being one third of the ever-funky (though unfortunately disbanded) Pnuma Trio.
In 2013, Paper Diamond released his white-hot sophomore album Paragon. He delivers a solid mix of the vibed-out bass music and upbeat glitch-hop we have come to expect from this multi-talented producer. Never one to rest on his laurels, Alex B’s expertise and skill as a producer has blossomed with this release—the sky is the limit for Paper Diamond.
To support this terrific album, Paper Diamond is beginning the 32-stop “Cold Crush Tour” this Friday at Avalon Nightclub in Hollywood, CA. Every time Alex B comes to town, his performance has grown in orders of magnitude since the last. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for this tour. His feel-good gangster sound is the perfect soundtrack for you and your friends to bask in your own swagger for a night.
