The Rolling Stones returned to the stage recently for a number of special guest-filled gigs in London and arrived stateside over the weekend for a show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The ’50 and Counting’ golden Anniversary tour has seen guest appearances by Eric Clapton, Florence Welch, Jeff Beck, former members Mick Taylor and Bill Wyman, Gary Clark Jr. and Mary J. Blige among others. The Stones return to the stage on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden for the 12/12/12 Sandy Benefit and wrap the tour at the Newark Prudential Center on Saturday. More dates are expected in 2013 for the Stones.
As an aside, hopefully they’ll get the whole ticket price (TM fees for a floor ticket at the Barclays show were $77.40) / secondary market / scalping situation under control. Not crossing our fingers on that one.
