With the second wave of artist announcements last Thursday, the Sonic Bloom Festival in Georgetown, Colorado has us beside ourselves with excitement. With other local festivals like Monolith and Mile High on indefinite hiatus, and Sonic Bloom coming up on seven years, it seems that this festival has found the key to longevity by billing popular local acts and providing the chilled out festival vibe that summer is all about. With the addition of PANTyRAiD, Robotic Pirate Monkey, and Project Aspect to the lineup which already includes Sonic Bloom veterans Tipper, EOTO, Zilla, and Vibesquad, this years installment has the makings of the most laid back whomp fest in the state. With a third artist announcement on the way, and with Tier 1 tickets already sold out, we will be keeping a close eye on this one in the next few months!
