After months of speculation, rumors, and leaks, Lollapalooza has finally revealed its official 2010 lineup, confirming most of what we posted as initial rumors a couple months ago. At the top of the lineup is a reunited Soundgarden, along with Green Day, the controversial choice of Lady Gaga, up-and-coming French rockers Phoenix, and The Strokes (who have been off the touring circuit for nearly four years). Lollapalooza once again returns to Chicago’s Grant Park, for the first weekend in August (Aug 6-8).

As is typically the case, the second and third tiers of the lineup look the most intriguing to us here at LMB. It’s also interesting to see that Perry Ferrel has expanded the dance/DJ optoins with his “Spinning at Perry’s” lineup.
