Baltimore dream pop duo Beach House took Boston’s Wilbur Theatre stage last night in front of a sold out crowd. Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally opened the night with their song “Wild” off their newest album Bloom. The stage lights were a notch above completely off and a dim spotlight gradually brightened throughout the first song. Backlighting seems to be Beach House’s favorite because of how the lighting really captures the essence of the surreal atmosphere of their music. Songs “Bitter Times” and “Norway” next the crowd really started to get into the music. Clapping and moving in unison during the opening songs, Boston seemed to LOVE Beach House.
