played their fifth night of The Baker’s Dozen run delivering on the theme of “powdered”, which really stretched itself to show why the band could open with a cover (sung acapella). For those that didn’t know until they played it, the song was “White Hymnal”… powder… get it?! And yet we didn’t get any more “winter-y” covers, but the band did bring back their epic cover, “1999” which famously opened their New Year’s Eve 1998-99 show. And for the encore, the band played “Powderfinger” by , perfectly nailing the theme and satisfying all those fans that dug around and predicted that cover sometime earlier in the day.
