Weekly Roundup | South by Langerado v2

Weekly Roundup | South by Langerado v2

One of the clear highlights from this year’s SXSW was the NPR showcase featuring The Whigs, Yo La Tengo, and My Morning Jacket at the Austin Music Hall. The show was webcast live and is now archived and available for streaming through NPR Music, and I suggest you load up all three of the sets and give the show a listen front to back.

Sam, Mitch, Dave from Earvolution.com, and myself were all second row for the entire thing and were just completely blown away by all three bands. I’ll have a little more detail in a few posts this week, and enjoy some photos in the meantime.

Let the music begin! The past couple days at SXSW 2008 have been geekfest central, complete with a horrible keynote interview featuring Facebook’s quasi-demigod of a CEO named Zuckerberg and a s***load of panels dedicated to building (killer) web…

  • Kraftwerk Announces Some US Dates

  • Live from SXSW 2008 | I’m Still Alive but My Liver Isn’t
I fully intended on staying caught-up on the blog and planned on writing from Austin while attending SXSW 2008, but the truth is that I found it incredibly hard to stay on vacation and attend great concerts while also…
