Watch the two performances below.
He did “I Love It” with Lil Pump and Adele Givens was being broadcast via video screen in the back. And well, he was dressed as a Perrier bottle, definitely one of my favorite sparkling waters. But Lil Pump was a Fiji water bottle, which is definitely my favorite bottled mineral waters. And holy hell, I am not a fan of this song.
Then he did “We Got Love” with Teyana Taylor and a backing track, which I gotta say has a better vibe and flow. And the two performances together continue to solidify Kanye West as the only artist that seems to be making the most of his public battle with bipolar disorder, as both show his mania and depression in perfect contrast and artistic defiance.
He ranted something at the end which Billboard details here.
[Chris] Rock documented the impromptu performance on his Instagram story, but he also caught West’s remarks — on politics, Trump, his potential presidential run in 2020 and more — which he made while wearing a MAGA hat.
Come for the Kanye, stay for the mind-blowing hilarious cold open with Matt Damon at Brett Kavanaugh.
