Maybe you only saw it as a small blurb in Rolling Stone, but I competely missed this one come through my inbox. The Wall to Wall Guitar Festival in Urbana, IL will feature some of the best and brightest guitarists, artists dedicated to guitarists, whatever, it’s a guitar festival. But, seriously, I must have missed the fact that it was quite interesting and quite close to home.
DANIEL LANOIS, BILL FRISELL, KAKI KING and TAJ MAHAL will perform at the Wall to Wall Festival, taking place September 29th to October 2nd in Urbana, Illinois
Read on for the full press release. My money would be on the Andy Summers art exhibit and all the sets mentioned above on Rolling Stone. Also, some of the festival has already begun, but plenty of stuff will continue on through the month of September. If anyone can make it out to some of these events, we’d love to have the review.
