Wakarusa 2007 Dates Announced

Not to be confused with any other music festival with a slightly silly name, Wakarusa Music Festival has announced their dates for 2007.

We’re pleased to announce that Wakarusa 2007 will be taking place on June 7-10. Stay tuned to www.wakarusa.com for initial artist announcements and on-sale information.

I expect the artist lineup at Wakarusa to be very similar to last year’s fest: very jamband heavy. They’ve had plenty of success and positive feedback from the community on keeping the festival true to the jamband “Woodstock ’69” sort of vibe, even if it brings out droves of quota-hungry police officers.

Bonnaroo on the other hand — I have no idea where they’ll take this year’s lineup. I’m definitely looking forward to it.
