Umphrey’s McGee is getting back on the road this week with a set of shows in the Big Apple planned before heading into the Midwest. The band will be webcasting their Sunday night show from Brooklyn Bowl for free, as well.

Today the band dropped a new single called “Suxity” over at American Songwriter and Jake Cinninger had this to say about the process: “I was looking for a drastic contrast between the verses and the choruses, like Sly Stone dating Alice In Chains. It was one of the more exciting tracks that we have ever cut live in the studio, just grinding, tight and heavy.”
