Umphrey’s McGee began a two-night run at ’s last night, the first of three shows in the city. The closing show of the run at tonight will be webcast live for FREE.

For the first night of the run, the band took their shot at honoring the passing of drummer by covering the band’s “Anthem” to close the first set, welcoming for vocals. I’d say they nailed it based on the clips I saw. Perfect choice for these guys (and gal) to tackle.

For night two, the band covered “Limelight” from Rush to start the second set with drummer handling lead vocals.
