The hit the road this August and September with a highly anticipated five show run in highlighted by an appearance at the LoHi Music Festival in Denver, a benefit for the town of Oak at the Spirit of , after-parties in Alabama and Georgia, three nights with in their home state of Florida, and a run up and down the coast anchored by sets at the Savannah Craft Beer Festival, , and .

This run is also highlighted by the introduction of bassist Tony D’Amato, longtime friend of the Pets and band mate of drummer Newitt in the -based jazz-fusion act, . Justin Carney has left the band to pursue other interests. “We are very excited to welcome Tony to the family. I have been a fan of his since my first time seeing SpUn, and look forward to the deeply funky impact he will have on this band,” says guitarist Jeff Lloyd. In typical THP fashion, they have a full tour ahead giving them plenty of opportunity to introduce D’Amato to their rapidly expanding fan base.
